  • American Check Transport’s stringent training criteria emphasis’s "Safety First". All pilots are given extensive ground and flight training that coincides with Simcom which is the most elite training program for pilots in the United States. Prior to actually assuming flight duties, all pilots are required to operate the aircraft with American Check Transport's Check Airmen supervision on the actual routes to be flown until the Check Airmen are satisfied with each pilot's proficiency levels.
  • Training for the Navajo's is conducted using American Check Transport's FAA approved training program.
  • The MU-2's initial and recurrent training is conducted using American Check Transports FAA approved training program SIMCOM. The director of Operations and Safety, Steve Edner conducts the ground school, using American Check Transport training syllabus. The Chief Pilot and Check airman, conducts all flight training. All American Check transport MU-2 pilots, mechanics and senior management attend an annual training program sponsored by Mitsubishi Industries for additional training on the MU-2 aircraft.
  • Flight Line mechanics maintain their own fleet of aircraft for their cargo operations. We maintain MU-2's and Piper Navajo.

ACT has been rewarded for its safety practices by various insurance carriers and has been the recipient of multi-year Cost Containment by its Workers Compensation carrier.
